The Scientific Advisory Board of the TGNB The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the Transgender Network Berlin (TGNB) is an association of scientists and other academics which supports the TGNB in its political work. The members of the SAB seek to follow the objectives and concerns of the transgender and intersex movements in their research, which oppose the domination and appropriation of the field by science. The production of non-pathologizing and non-exoticising research by, with and for transgender and intersex people is the central aim of the SAB.
The members of the Scientific Advisory Board, which was founded in October 2004, are elected by the Plenum of the TGNB.
